Zoe listens to all of this with eyebrows arched all the way to her forehead. If she's supposed to feel badly, she doesn't. He just had a meltdown at a legitimate question. For all any of them know about each other, she's surprised there wasn't more back and forth.

All that he sounds like to her, as he tosses around his credentials is a man who never had anyone's approval at face value. Always had to work for it. It's just interesting that before she let a man poke a hole in her and take her blood, she asked a question that apparently sent him spiraling.

"I'm sure you're as selfless as you say you are. But let's make one thing clear here, doc." She stares right at him, not intimidated by his little breakdown. "I don't know you. And I don't know what kind of past you have where people don't have the...what did you call it? Audacity to be sure that when someone has a needle in their hand pointed at you, he ain't just some random stranger they never met before. Don't know what a cylon is and don't care much to."

She turns to go. "Thanks for makin' this place safer, Doc." And with that, she disappears to go find Wash. Tell him not to give the crazy man on level three any of his blood.
