Planetside: Dolios - Nighttime
Night in the port city of Dolios bloomed with light and music. Every bar, cafe, and dance hall had its doors flung open on the warm night, spilling sound and people alike out onto the sidewalks and streets. Like other tourist cities, night life in Dolios went to all hours as people competed to spend their money and mingle in the warm weather. It was a perfect place to get lost until dawn.

It was rare that any of her shipmates accompanied her. By the time it was safe for Pam to venture out, most of them had already lost themselves in the city. It would not have been difficult for her to find any of them, but until she had fed, the less she saw of them the better. They knew what she did on land and they knew that she was discrete and that was usually where the matter dropped.
Pam emerged from the alley with her victim out cold behind her. The girl, who had giddily joined her without even the slightest glamor who would only remember her hangover in the morning. Her body was humming and the feeding high had not quite left her, so she was surprised as she stepped out onto the sidewalk to nearly run into someone passing in a hurry on the way to the nearest establishment. She sidestepped them at the last moment.
"Well pardon me. That must be quite a thirst for so much hurry," she teased.

His feet (and yes, his nose) took him to the port, where small restaurants served what they had caught in the bay during the day. A lonely fisherman had not yet caught the fish he had meant to catch and was still trying. Andras got to talking to him, and was invited to have a try. Before throwing the fishing rod he looked back to see if anyone was there. "Try not to laugh," he said, good-naturedly.

As it was, he'd just wandered outside of the hole in the walls to have a cigarette, and he was leaning against the wall and thinking of exactly how mad his wife might be if he only got back to the ship in the morning, when somebody stopped by his side, and he glanced at them with a small smile. "Not a bad night for it, huh?"
